.380 ACP Ammo by Magtech – 95gr FMJMagtech .380 Auto ammunition rounds are recommended by the manufacturer for target shooting and plinking. The jacketed lead core allows for great accuracy with no expansion. Shot from a 3.75-inch barrel the initial velocity of the round at the muzzle is at 951 feet-per-second (fps) and reduces to 903fps at 25 yards. The energy of the round at the muzzle is 191 foot-pounds (ft-lbs) and reduces to 172 ft-lbs.* The ammunition does contain lead and is not recommended for indoor ranges due to lead particle residue left in the environment after firing. Outdoor ranges are recommended for this type of ammunition to reduce lead exposure.

* Velocity of the projectile can be impacted by the condition and barrel length of the firearm and as a result can impact the resulting energy. Results shown may not be applicable to your particular firearm.

    Ammo feeds fine in an lcp I shot thru a 1 gallon water jug with 2 1×6 pine boards behind it and it open up. My Magtech fmj 95gr. is more accurate at 15 yards.
